Artworks helps ordinary people do extraordinary things.
A Bradford-based social enterprise and registered charity, Artworks uses creativity to affect change in people and places. Working with professional artists, Artworks develops and delivers tailor-made participatory arts projects and commissions. We use all art forms from dance, drama and interior design to rap, illustration, film-making and digital art. Through the arts we inspire and create new beginnings; giving hope and purpose to all.
The arts are a proven tool, engaging people in the areas of community, youth and health. Artworks is a professional organisation with an excellent track record of success and is there for young and old from all sections of the community including business. Our mission is to boost the regeneration of our community; to work in partnership with organisations, businesses and individuals to narrow the gap and engage hard to reach members of our city and area. Focusing on capacity building and neighbourhood renewal, we have the strategic vision to deliver first-class, effective, ethical arts-based training and dynamic projects that benefit everyone.
Whether Artworks is working with young people, in health settings or providing creative training, we want to realise our vision of Bradford as a place where creativity is everywhere we look and everyone has access to the arts.
